I carry an Orange and Black Triage every day and it's my favorite knife. I can open it from any position but upside down just with a flick of the wrist. It has glass breaker and seat belt /bandage cutter which might come in handy in an accident or if you came up one on the road. Also in case there was any question simply refer to it as a multi tool

Still, the Proper is very appealing looking. I have given this knife some thought.

I looked at one, but it has a pretty weak spring. That turned me off. I like a slipjoint to have a more positive snap open/close. Also, when opened half way, the weak spring bugged me. I like the looks though.

I wish it wasn't S30V but that appears to be all BM uses except M390 on sprints.

S30V is good steel. What don't you like about it?

In a traditional, I would have preferred M390 or M4. I have had S30V chip worse than any "supersteel" I have owned
