Wanted to know what a Ti RIL felt with a steel insert. But I already blew 250€ in a new SpydieChef and 200 in a used Chokwe.

Going to Knives&Tools and what do I stumble upon : a QSP Penguin in 154CM Ti RIL with steel insert for 65€ lol

So, that's on the way for sure...
:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.

Brisa Birk 75 - S30V, full flat ground, curly birch scales, made in Finland. I've always wanted to check one of these out.. real simple, smooth lines, you can definitely see that Scandinavian influence.. seems like a really solid deal at $125. Should be here next week!
I've got the slip joint version of that from back when the company was branded Enzo. It's very good. Fit and finish is the best among modern traditionals I've purchased.
Nice to hear, thank you for the feedback! I've heard a lot of positive about the brand, both as Enzo and Brisa. I'm really looking forward to mine arriving. Delivery seems to be taking its sweet time though.. tracking says saturday..

I'd take pictures of I could get them to load. The backspring is cut so tight it disappears into the stainless liners. Mines polished black G10.

Received the Ti QSP Penguin this morning. This is something else alright !
I only own 2 chinese brand knives, a Kizer and a Civivi.
For 65€ (approx $70), getting a Ti RIL with a steel insert, a ceramic detent and 154CM for a blade steel is pretty incredible value.
The fit and finish is crazy good, the blade is centered, there is no lateral play and the blade actually drops shut. I get why some people only buy from there, such a knife would cost a lot if it was made in the USA or Europe.

Sheffield made lambsfoot folder in rosewood. There is just something correct about the design. I’d like to see Spyderco do a version in their ethnic series.

:rofl I think we all understand that.

Great knife, though I just sold mine cuz the large and small micarta damascus sebenzas are dominating the pocket.

Seeing yours often lately has had me considering the idea of getting a Small 31 once a big batch drops. I like the Small as a fancy knife carry size. I've never had any kind of Damascus blade, so why not get one from one of the best!

I do prefer the Large Sebenza 100%, but there is something I missed about that overbuilt Large Inkosi. After revisiting it with the blacked out version I really wished I hadn't sold my micarta one. Your sale post had me thinking about sending a PM, and when that other member posted one for the cheapest I've seen I jumped on it.

I've been carrying a Small Inkosi around the house a lot lately. I like little tanks of a knife, and often think I actually like it better than the Small Seb. On paper it's too cramped for my XL hand, but it just works somehow. I now have a small collection of them I should post in the CRK thread.
