Re: What "others" are in the mail?
TOPS C.A.T 203 model ! I was looking for a fixed blade < 8 inches total with a kydex sheath. Cheaper than almost every regular 1095 alternative, and I really like their Puukko.

I hope you have a good experience.

Re: What "others" are in the mail?
Thanks guys. $450 is way more than I've ever spent on a knife, but since I selling off about half my Spyderco knives this past month, I had a fair bit of ready money available and decided to take the plunge.
I like the simplicity and timelessness of the Sebenza and Chris Reeve's design philosophy. I am really looking forward to getting this knife in hand!

Hard to beat a 21 bro... one of the best made folders period. The Meat man wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 8:20 pmThanks guys. $450 is way more than I've ever spent on a knife, but since I selling off about half my Spyderco knives this past month, I had a fair bit of ready money available and decided to take the plunge.

I think everyone knife person should experience them assuming they don’t over extend themselves financially.
I have a large sebenza 21, M. strider sng, hinderer xm-18 (gen 4) and firetac, microtech Socom elite and ludt, a shiro F3, Emerson cqc-7, and 2 Medford slim midi marauders.
I’ve had other various knives from each maker but sold them for one reason or another. It’s hard to beat the classics for each maker for a reason.
If you can, I’d say pick any of those as well and you cannot go wrong. As I stated in another thread, I choose to look at the knives themselves and they are all AWESOME in they’re own ways. If your curious about one, feel free to PM me and I can let you know my thoughts or try to answer questions you may have, although getting the knife in hand and using it is really what should happen before forming an opinion. As much as I love spyderco, there are a lot of great blades on the outside. All those just happen to cost a pretty penny.

Do yourself a favor and take some time to Appreciate your Sebenza. Handle it, open and close it, cut with it. Close your eyes and feel the knife. The Meat man wrote: ↑Tue Jun 16, 2020 8:20 pmThanks guys. $450 is way more than I've ever spent on a knife, but since I selling off about half my Spyderco knives this past month, I had a fair bit of ready money available and decided to take the plunge.

The Sebenza's simplicity is deceptive. A lot of thought and execution went into that knife.
Also, they just get better with use
