I unexpectedly have a large Sebenza 31 on the way... Plain Jane S45VN. It will be my first sip of the CRK Kool-Aid. 🙈
Nice! And Great Kool-Aid it is indeed.

Thanks fellas! I handled a "21" years ago at the start of my knife journey. It was way out of my price range at the time, and I was a bit underwhelmed by the simplicity of the design. I have since developed an appreciation for simple ti framelocks like the Sage 2, Spydiechef, and soon Swayback, so I think the Sebenza will fit right in.

I have to try one at least, right? For science. 😉

It was an order. This is apparently the last one they only had one blank. Liked the full tang, grip, and profile.

Thank you!!!!

For more than a year I have been looking for something similar to Sal's Respect but with a full exposed tang in the handle. If Sal redesigns the Respect with a full exposed tang, I'll buy that too.

I emailed the bladesmith and he said they were not making them at the time, but then emailed me back and said that he had a blank. They have some smaller Bowies with 4 inch blades, but I choose the larger. Maybe I'll go back and get the smaller too.

This is my first Bowie style knife. Should be complete some time in December.

I fell victim to FOMO and ordered the Buck 110 in MagnaCut they just announced. Let's hope they nailed the heat treat. Bos should be fine, but I doubt they have BBB on speed dial. :nerd
