I hear ya SG89, my knife buying days are over after today I'm afraid. Got too many projects this year....gotta stain both decks and numerous other things like flowers etc.....but!! I was able to slip in one more....I liked that Lon Humphrey blade so well, that I got another. This is his "Delta" - I believe it's a new model for Lon. It's a 5&1/2" 52100 blade with Desert Ironwood Handles. Never had Desert Ironwood before. Very much look forward to this one. This seems like a real do all type blade. And, I know it'll be screamin dam sharp outta the box. Anyways, here a couple pics.
Btw, KSF still has some if anyone is interested.
They dropped today at 4pm and going FAST.

Brisa Birk 75 - S30V, full flat ground, curly birch scales, made in Finland. I've always wanted to check one of these out.. real simple, smooth lines, you can definitely see that Scandinavian influence.. seems like a really solid deal at $125. Should be here next week!

I've got the slip joint version of that from back when the company was branded Enzo. It's very good. Fit and finish is the best among modern traditionals I've purchased.
