It's different than the Model #1, a lot different.

The Model #16 Special Fighter goes back to the Korean War when they wanted a Model #16 fighting knife.

So they took the Model #16 (Dive Knife) and made it with the #1 (Fighter) blade.

It has a full tang too, 1/4" full tang.

And the blade isn't hollow ground like the #1 is.

It's a very serious knife.

And it fits my hand perfectly, I have larger hands so I figured it would.

And they are only in stainless too, since the base is the #16 Dive.
