Package from BPS Knives Ukraine arrived today containing a camp knife and friction folder.

The camp knife feels okay and stays sharp doing a reasonable amount of work.

This is my first friction folder so I don't have a frame of reference to compare it against. I will say that it is centered, sharp, and it opens and closes smoothly.

I have an unused, but antique New York Knife Company 2 blade jack (boys knife sized) due in tomorrow.

I'm very excited. It was made in Walden, NY in the 1930s at the latest and could be as early as the late1800s.

It has ebony covers and all steel construction with a spear main with cut swedge and long pull. The secondary is a pen blade. It has a bail too.

Pics after it arrives.

Ok, I'll try to remember to take some this weekend. I'm buying it used from Arizona Custom Knives. Blade steel isn't specified, but my guess is either 1075 or XC75.

ETA: I also just bought his Military Bowie, his Light PPF and a titanium La Griffe that were also available on ACK.

Let you know when I get it! Jumped on the last Magnacut he’s making for a long time. His stuff last minutes when they go up usually. JWKnifeAndTool.com

I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Got a Kershaw Iridium on the way. The duralock and KVT bearings, along with aluminum scales and D2 steel make this one a winner on paper, for $65.

I need the help of someone who lives in Germany. I would like to buy a Kubey knife I'm eyeing for a long time but the website only ship in Germany. So I'd like the person to receive the knife and sending it to me (in France). I'll cover any fees myself through paypal and give a little extra to buy a nice cofee =D

If you know someone, please reach back.
