Pretty excited about what's coming.
The Tops Frog Market Special Combo - both the Special and XL Special. These knives supposedly super, super, sharp outta the box. Very thin too, from what I understand. If they are as sharp as the Spydeco Zoomer and Province, I'll be very happy.
Anyways, here's a little video about them.
Anyone interested, Roger at Knifeworks has them in stock.

Those look interesting, but Tops charges an unreasonable price, IMO, for 1095 steel. Value, of course is always in the eye of the buyer and my opinion is only an opinion.

They prolly do but, if it's a helluva performer the market and demand for it will always justify the price.
I'll let ya know how she does.
But, from what I understand these knives are pretty wicked outta the gate bro.
If she hold an edge pretty good then it will be very well worth the price. I'll let ya know.
Mainly, I freakin love that design!

I grew up with 1095 in my kitchen and while these do seem kind of pricey, I can see them on a camp cookout. The sheath adds significantly to the price no doubt. I would rather not have this video guy doing mise en place in my kitchen, tho. :grimace

Yes sir, I got them mainly for camping.
As for the video, I agree but, there's not a whole heckuva lot of video on the tandem package.

The Dual sheath is kinda KEWL. I'm not a leather worker, but years ago I made a sheath to carry a 10" chef, a filet and a paring. David Boye thought it was kinda kewl, too.

I'm not looking to buy one, but does it seem like a good knife? Does it feel cheap? Does the blade flex?

Recently moved and it's buried in storage somewhere. Basically 5 layers of bull hide. In order to stitch it together, I first had to tac it, mark the holes with a rolling wheel and then drill them. :spiral-eyes

Still in the mail bro. I'll certainly let ya know once I get it.
Edit- the review says it will flex a little - so that's good. She'll bend a little before she breaks. 420HC (High Carbon) and like the guy said, Condor getting their start with German steel and German knife makers, they do know what they're doing. But, all the same, I'll let ya know once I get it. Hopefully, it'll be here Monday.

Yeah, buddy. I've been waiting almost 3 months for these to show up and trying to keep my trap shut the whole time was difficult. Ever since Bradford told me they were in the pipeline.

I had no idea! Was really hoping for a sheepsfoot, only G3 design I don't have...though I do crave one with a Nimbus finish! (wish the Nimbus finished blades came with the black sheath like the DLC blades)
