Anyone else have one of these? I'm working on the scales for mine now. Just got it this weekend, doing ebony grips with purple heart accent strips & copper pins. It's a FFG & came fairly sharp from the factory, but there's always room for improvement. This is a D2 steel & at first I thought it was fairly soft, but after working the edge at 19 degrees to do a small re-profile from the factory edge, I'm beginning to think it might be pretty good. Wondering if anyone else has one they use in D2 & if so, what their opinion is of the blade & steel is after some use. Picture is just the first coat of Danish oil & there's still plenty of sanding & oil left to do until it's reasonably smooth. Simple lines, fairly plain but comfortable to hold now.

I personally think FFG blade is a perfect slicer.
And I'd say "do not let worries stop you from buy it" to those who are doubting
It's worth trying
