Enzo Elver in D2

Anyone else have one of these? I'm working on the scales for mine now. Just got it this weekend, doing ebony grips with purple heart accent strips & copper pins. It's a FFG & came fairly sharp from the factory, but there's always room for improvement. This is a D2 steel & at first I thought it was fairly soft, but after working the edge at 19 degrees to do a small re-profile from the factory edge, I'm beginning to think it might be pretty good. It's a FFG & came fairly sharp from the factory, but there's always room for improvement. I won't really know until it's been used & sharpened a fer times.

Wondering if anyone else has one they use in D2 & if so, what their opinion is of the blade & steel is after some use. Picture is just the first coat of Danish oil & there's still plenty of sanding & oil left to do until it's reasonably smooth. Simple lines, fairly plain but comfortable to hold now.

I personally think FFG blade is a perfect slicer.
And I'd say "do not let worries stop you from buy it" to those who are doubting
