My latest regrinds

here are some of my latest regrinds...

A Fallkniven PXL Workhorse and a Bark River Woodland Special. 60, 80 and 120 grit ceramic belt, 400 grit buffing belt.

I was inspired by all the regrinds by you and others around the forums. Picked up a Harbor Freight 1×30 and some ceramic belts from Supergrit recently. Did my first power grinding today with a drip line setup for a wet grind.

Really happy with how my Enlan turned out. Wimped out and wanted some practice before I go after any Spydies :)



Didn't completely get rid of the hollow, but I was mindful of your thread about going too thin.

That's the problem with regrinding hollow grind knives (on a flat platen or convex) that you get too thin at the edge. If you get to zero with the whole blade bevel you have to remove a lot of metal when grinding the new edge....

But your regrind looks nice

Yes, with hindsight I suppose I should have worked the top half to near full height first and then ground the whole blade flat at a lower primary angle. Something to keep in mind for next time. I plan to flatten my older hollow ground UKPK at some point.
