My second Large 21 came in today. All I need, I sold all my other folders besides my three traditionals I have so far, and two fixed blades.
Nice. Your Bradley folder is gone too?
Yup..... I’ve got a Rhino in the safe that I’ll never let go of, I won it here on a Father’s Day give away a couple years ago. And still have a Manbug salt on my keys, and the Bradley Bowie fixed blade, but that’s it for me and Spydies....

Funny you post this, lately I’ve been thinking about doing the same thing. I look at all the knives I never carry and think of moving at least some of them on to fund a large Seb.

Any regrets?

Which model bark river is that and what is the handle material?
It is the Bobcat Hunter in brown jigged bone and brass hardware. The blade is CPM154 and is only about 2.5mm. I like it a lot. It is an exclusive with Knives Ship Free and I got it a few weeks ago when they were 20% off. Bark River also makes a slightly small Ultralight Hunter but this one fits my hand better.

Nope, honestly it was the best decision I ever made. :)

I honestly can't get over how much I'm loving my new ZT 0562, it's the only non Spyderco that's been in my pocket in 25 years! As well as it's built,
and as slick as this knife is, does anyone here have a 0562 and it's true Hinderer counterpart? I know there's a huge price difference between the two but I honestly can't see the $200+ price difference? I know Hinderer knives are nice, and I know part of that premium price is paying for the name, but are they that much nicer than this ZT?

Just curious cause this ZT is built like a tank and it's absolutely perfect, not a single flaw anywhere. Consider me a ZT fan now!

Same here. I have five traditionals, one fixed blade Helle and one Spyderco which will be gone soon. I like the look, feel and history of well made traditionals. Even getting around with a walker I haven’t had the need to open a knife with one hand. I’ve never liked clips because when a knife is in hand for use they spoil otherwise excellent ergonomics. I like carbon steel because it is easy to sharpen and if I don’t care for the patina on a particular blade, I polish it away and start again.

The TRM knives look great.

It will be interesting to see if TRM builds anything with a comp lock when the patent opens up.

Would be cool if they did a mid backlock. Either would be a lot of new engineering.

Thin grind and awesome build notwithstanding the thumb studs and liner lock, which combined have kept me away.

I’ve got a fever!

The Bark River North Country EDC. Black canvas micarta with red liners and A2 steel.

The handle is large and comfy. The grind is reasonably thin. The blade has a negative angle and a sweeping belly. The blade tip is nice and low even with all that belly. It is 4mm stock but the thin grind and small swedge keep it cutting very well. I like the way the finger guard is integrated into the handle so it doesn’t hang down below the blade.

Only had it for a day but I am really loving everything about it. I am fortunate that I can EDC a small fixed blade without issue and have been doing so for a little while now. Looking forward to putting this into the rotation. Also looks like a perfect field dressing knife.
