Lol, I saw one come up on the forum, that I could actually afford and just bought the darn thing.
I still gotta get a Province!
Good thing with the Province, is it should be around for a long time :D

Tried to break one years ago, beat the hell out of it just to see what it could take, well beyond anything even remotely reasonable...
Now, I would have loved to watch that!
That wouldve been awesome :D

I had 3 of them, 2 for the collection and one to test.
Gosh a mighty Jim, I was just thinking, its freakin untelling how many Busse and other knives you've probably had over the years.
If Jim Ankerson tells ya a knife is tough, you can bet your arse on it!

I think I had just about anything worth having pass through my hands at one point or another.

I am however much more reserved these days and sold off 90% of all I had...

It's just the standard busse coating. It's almost like the stuff they spray in truck beds. It usually doesn't wear too well and starts smoothing and coming off pretty quick. I'm probably going to strip it off the blade eventually with some paint stripper. I'll leave it on the handle though.

Forgot how aggressive and toothy 440B can be, very aggressive edge once I sharpened it at 400 grit.
