I like the Zaan quite a bit. In fact I just dressed mine up.
that's cool, solid CF?

Yep. ShepardCC on Instagram makes them.
Please, I hope that’s the last you’ll ever buy from him! He’s a lying thief and scammer. Seems he’s maybe changing, but still.
Well dang, I'm pretty bummed to hear that! The Zaan scales are perfect, and he seems to have a pretty big following on IG still. Maybe he's managed to rebuild his reputation?

Love seeing all these CRK's!
They've accumulated in my collection quicker than I planned! Same old song around here :p
It's way, way too easy to get seriously into CRKs...I'm pretty hooked at this point. Love the pj, Rick! How do you like it compared to the Inkosi with inlays?

Nah I just got the plain hickory handle.
Now I'm considering getting one. definitely with the laser engraving, but maybe a color if available, I don't feel strongly about that.

Err, unless they all have the Gadsden symbol engraved and the option is for what goes on the handle. It would be slick to have the engraving in the head but I don't care much about the appearance of the handle if function is the same.

Carrying a Protech Malibu, blue, Wharnie in RFP right now (it displaced my orange CTS-XHP Shaman and something else will probably bump it in time, I just got it so trying to break it in a bit). LFP is still a waved SE Matriarch 2. Been favoring those for several years, will probably swap it for another largish SE blade, like the K390 Police or S35VN Resilience, when those arrive.

It's funny you ask that, because just a few days ago I was messing around with both, trying to figure out the same thing haha! I do think that I slightly prefer with inlays though. Now I want a Large 31 with the natural inlays!

Thanks! I have to agree, both are great knives for different purposes. That wharnie is no joke though, blade thickness comparable to a Shaman, but with an even longer cutting edge and almost half the size overall.

I had bought a new Praetorian T but, when I got it, I just didn't like it. So, I traded for this one.
Pics just can't do it justice. It's really beautiful in person. Btw, this is the "Galaxy" Theme

I did some research on the knife and came across the video but never saw a part 2. I just hear the texture makes some terrible hot spots during bare hand use.

Yeah, he never did part 2.
I gotta say man, you would really love one with the new finish. It's awesome bro.

So now that I've test driven multiple models, I've decided I like the inkosi better without inlays, and the large Sebenza either way. But the small sebenza feels better with inlays. I imagine hand size plays a big role.

Rick that wharnie has become my favorite small fixed blade. It's awesome for odd jobs around our property, and even for mushroom hunting.

It's a little pricey, but worth every penny in my eyes. Whenever I carry it, it honestly crosses my mind once a day in use, that I really don't even NEED any folders...but what's the fun in that!? So easy to touch up with that nice and straight edge too.
