That beast is actually pretty high on my wish list.
Actually the Adamas sits very well in pocket for me . Mileage will vary for others. I like large knives so it works for me .
I’m a big knife kind of guy. Do you like the ergos? Is it easy to open? What about with gloves on?
Feels solid in hand , gloves are not an issue for me . I have rather large palms so handle gives me good grip . Very smooth opening breaking in nicely. Thumb to stud for me is spot on . The mini probably would not work for me .

Regretting passing on one of those when they were briefly in stock a few months back. Told myself no because it was one if those rare times where I had just bought a couple knives. The waiting game continues!! Such an awesome blade on that beauty.

Thanks! Both CRKs and Hinderers seem to drop in trickles and get snatched up quickly. I for one regret not getting a Sebenza 21 Insingo when they were still available. Sometimes the funds just don't materialize in time. Ah well, such is life :smlling-eyes

I came real close to ordering a D2 DLC version when they startedphasing them out for cruwear. It's a well built knife. BM and Cold Steel both make some nice larger folders. The Ruckus was another BM I liked.

ImageHere is a size comparison with Original Manix XL lock back . Love my Manix knives but have to admit the Adamas sits better in pocket . MG2

It’s not even close to being my oldest knife, but this Victorinox Executive SAK is the one knife I own that I’ve carried for the longest uninterrupted period of time; 22 years (since 1999), and still going strong. I always have it in my RFP, regardless of what other knife or knives I may carry and use on any given day. I’ve found uses for every implement. Probably the least used feature is the larger knife blade.

Deep Cuts Cutlery Smol in Nitro-V at 62-63Rc. EDC sized fixed blade. The saber grind is a bit different from my usual preference, but it does beg to be worked hard.

Perhaps the most overlooked Victorinox model. Many moons ago I found one a parking lot of a hobby shop. I carried that one for many years and finally giving it to my brother after I bought a new one. He lost it, of course. I really wish they would release an aloe version in the modern color ways.

Yes, the Executive IS definitely the most overlooked/underrated. And I would love a colored Alox version. I would miss the toothpick and tweezers, but still…I’d love one of those, if Victorinox would ever make them.

Very cool knife. It's not as figity as spyderco, and there is definitely a break in period. My thumb was sore the first few days!

Mine has a tiny bit of lockrock, which I've read is pretty normal for the new detent ball design. It doesnt bother me.
