I held a Taggedout today... Not as flexy as the OG Bugout, and wow the grind is nice on that thin stock! Not a huge fan of the Crooked River type blade shape, but as a whole it's a very nice piece.

Also, Spydie flicks like a champ!
The flex of the original Bugout never bothered me, it’s been proven to have better/stronger lock up then some of the black class knives in abuse tests as well. I hope this keeps that pedigree, unlike the mini adamas.

I’m with you on the blade shape, I think bowie/large clip points look sexy, but I don’t like such an upswept blade shape for edc tasks. However, I couldn’t pass up trying one. the oval slot is hard for me to use, at first… being use to the spydie hole. I do still like it better than thumb studs. It’s hard for me to spydie flick, but that’s never been a standard for me to open a pocket knife and not something I try till someone I know asks about it…
I agree on all points above, and I'm still hoping for a true Bugout XL!

I think this is their first folder with their "SelectEdge", which may explain the price to some degree.

Select Edge is description of their 14 dps if I remember correctly. They recently have been promoting it I believe on fixed blade processing knives . Dan

This thread seems to be pretty active today, just came across this nice, fixed blade in 3V. I know a few people are interested in 3V.

The bevels were definitely polished, but the select edge definitely wasn’t so select on mine. Marketing at its finest 😌

It is a good one with a very generous handle. Only wish Esee made some with thinner grinds.

The #35 GEC Cattle knife from the latest run is getting a lot of appreciation around here. I didn't know i would like the winterbottom jigging pattern as much as i do. I have a real weak spot for peach seed jigging and it's hard for me to appreciate other jigging patterns.

I love the cut swedge with a long pull.

I really like the all steel and bone construction of both of these knives. The other is a 2014 Crown Lifter Boy's Knife on a #15 frame.

Great shot abbazaba! Love how some of the colors in the rocks tie in with the scales. Speaking of which, congrats on this month's calendar image as well! That was a great pic to change over to!

Finishing up my coffee before heading in.

Thanks! I fear my entry was not as good this year, but that Manbug wharnie is a probable winner. Color our world blackened!
