Good for you Paul, that's some pretty good usage right there!

A 5th wheel is a BIG step up compared to a travel trailer. Not only in size, but also money, weight and areas to maintain. I know a few people that have them that wish they stuck with a simple tow behind. Others absolutely love them, but tend to live in them a couple months a year traveling to Nascar races.

Interested in what you...well, let's face it... your wife chooses brother!! :tonque-out
Lol, I'm in trouble and you know it bro 😂
Nah, thanks Rick. I appreciate it man. We really did want to get as much use out if it as we can. And, what you said was true, in that the longer trips are a lot better. I won't do an over-nighter. No way. And, she agreed to that thank goodness. Even a two nighter goes by super fast. I like to stay a minimum of 3 nights if possible.
Good Lord, I gotta figure somehow to get her mind off of these dam 5th wheels...

Is that the Fallkniven WM1? I picked one of those up in their 3G steel, and I like it, but I kinda wish I'd gone with the F1 in the Lam CoS steel. What do you carry yours in?

Yes it is! Hemlock is very neat too!
I've got a couple Hemlock trees but, they're not nearly as plentiful as they used to be around here from what I understand.

In the original zytel sheath, but I would like to make a horizontal leather sheath for it.
This one is in VG10 BTW.

How do you like the VG10? My experience with their 3G was that it didn't seem to hold an edge much better than the VG10 in my Street Beat (but it could be a geometry thing. I thinned the edge out on the Street Beat.). I have the leather sheath, but when I end up picking up one of the F1's, I will definitely get the zytel sheath for it. I'm contemplating getting a Armatus Carry sheath for my WM1.

Like it a lot, gets super sharp, slices beautifully. No rust. I also like the performance of the blade geometry and how it looks so far.

The Armatus Carry for the WM1 looks so cool. Must resist.

Received the G5 Metamorph Mk.II, had to put an edge on it tho, and it wasn't easy at all ! 14C28N has always been relatively simple to sharpen for me, I don't really know what's happening with this knife. I laid the edge back only 1 or 2° to not remove too much steel, I guess the (imo) thick grind is to blame.
My real thought is the heat treat, cause reprofiling a blade is as easy as sharpening it, just longer. But I do not want it to be the case lol.

:respect In the collection :respect : Lots of different steels, in lots of different (and same) Spydercos.
