It's good to hear that the edge retention on their 20CV is better than S30V.Makunochimaster wrote: ↑Fri Apr 09, 2021 1:11 pm20cv is super steel, retention edge like as 2xS30V

Pretty good results from ZT. Thanks for sharing.

Truck maintenance day. New battery, oil/filter change rotated the tires and changed the plugs.

Older workhorse - LionSteel in D2. Hard use, lock feature is great, comfortable. Only minus for me is it’s D2 and I hate sharpening D2.
Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
Its the Giantmouse Ace Iona. It’s been great, has the m390 blade and a deep carry wire clip. I can send more photos or comparison photos with a Spydie if you want.

Nah that's ok, that pic shows the size pretty well compared to the other edc stuff in your handM Sea wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 10:40 pmIts the Giantmouse Ace Iona. It’s been great, has the m390 blade and a deep carry wire clip. I can send more photos or comparison photos with a Spydie if you want.

I went with a Winchester from Tractor Supply and More. It’s advertised as 24 guns but I barely fit everything I had in it. I wish I would of went bigger, but I couldn’t pass on the price.

Yup, everyone I've talked to says go bigger than what you think you need. But, I think you did great!
That's a good look lookin safe! And, whether we like it or not, price is always a factor. I don't blame ya one bit for getting it at a good deal.

Right? 24 pop guns maybe. I got a big Browning Medallion when Sportsman’s Warehouse was closing here in town. 700-lbs empty  I’ve got things stacked nuts to butts in there...
The thing about “going bigger” is you will eventually fill it! Sometimes I wonder if having several of the same type/size safe would be a better plan. Easier access and not all your eggs in one basket, if you will.
Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
I really like these, alot but D2 can be an issue living around the saltwater. How has this held up and are you close to the ocean? Thank you, great looking Lionsteel!

I hope you have that bolted to the concrete floor. Too many stories of safes being wheeled out the door. Also lock up your power tools and pry tools as those RSC types safes can be split quickly.
