This is probably one of the best utility type of blades I've ever used. What a great shape, slight downward curve at the tip, also slightly heavier at the tip. I'd love for Spyderco to have something similar. This knife kicks ***!

Another one of those cases where you want to switch it up, but have been enjoying the one you've had in pocket already.

May your feet be warm and dry and your throat warm with whiskey. A knife in hand or in the sock band.

Rick , I could easily see myself having this Finch in my right hand pocket . Such a beautiful knife that would work so well for me in yard . Dan

I guess it was actually designed to harvest avocados. I find it incredible for utility work, this is even better than a Wharnie for my job, if I'm being honest with myself! Carrying it again today. I think I mentioned before somewhere on the forum, that they also have this knife in two other options, priced very fairly as well. No problem at all spending $135 on this knife!

Yes , I have looked at them , think there are at least three scale options . I like yours because it would be easy to find if Mr.Dummy sits it down and starts doing something else . ;) Dan

It is very reminiscent of old knives that were often called rope knives, especially by Case. Otter Messer anchor knives are still sold. Some even called a similar design a florist knife even with the straight edge. Modern ones seem to have a slight hook bill shape. Anyway, cool knife.

Rick, I've always admired that Finch. Such a nice looking knife. And I'm just now realizing it has a "bolster-lock" with a flipper... and a nail nick... I'm curious, how strong is the detent? That knifecenter video makes it look like it flips pretty well. All that NBA on that sheepsfoot is really tempting.

Thanks bud! Here's a few photos of the lock and ceramic ball interface. It flips open with ease, strong lockup and solid detent. No shaking this guy open.

Listen, keep showing it. I have already looked at them from seeing yours if I am being honest. I will say the other colors they offer do not do it justice like that shade that you have in your example. Really makes it pop and stand out as unique.

The in-hand pictures give a much better indication of size. Seems to be a pretty solid value.
