Nice! I have a Bravo 1 field with orange liners. Wish it had the more dropped point, may yet do that myself. I do wonder if I should have gotten the Gunny hunter instead.

I’ve got a fever!

The Bark River North Country EDC. Black canvas micarta with red liners and A2 steel.

The handle is large and comfy. The grind is reasonably thin. The blade has a negative angle and a sweeping belly. The blade tip is nice and low even with all that belly. It is 4mm stock but the thin grind and small swedge keep it cutting very well. I like the way the finger guard is integrated into the handle so it doesn’t hang down below the blade.

Only had it for a day but I am really loving everything about it. I am fortunate that I can EDC a small fixed blade without issue and have been doing so for a little while now. Looking forward to putting this into the rotation. Also looks like a perfect field dressing knife.

Christ I wish I could edc a fixed blade, that’s a real beauty. I’ll have to look into that one.

What’s the sheath like?

Sheath is nice. It rides really high. It is the same sheath that comes with some of their other models like my Mini Kephart. I belt carry it in the woods but EDC it at work in my side pocket on my carpenter pants.

Woodpuppy, the Bravo is nice and I love the handle on it but they are too thick for my tastes. I almost bought a 1.25LT a few times. Someday I probably will. Bark River will regrind that Bravo for you if you really want a drop point.

Ya know besides the nice blades, Bark River puts out some excellent sheaths too.

I don’t always like the style and design of them. I am a deep pocket style sheath guy and don’t like the strap style like the bravo uses. That said, I have no complaints with the quality of them. This is my first one with DLT’s waterproofing treatment and it is very, very nice. I always thought that it wouldn’t be worth the extra $10 but now I think it is.

They do a good job for $10 ( whatever it is they use - good stuff for sure )
But, I really like applying snow seal myself.
That sheath looks really good.

The new McNee's Custom Microhawk. Had him make mine with Acidwash M390, Bronze Anodized Titanium, and a 'gold snakeskin' Fatcarbon backspacer. It's a front flipper wharn/hawk. About the size of a McBee. My first custom.

This one keeps finding its way into my pocket... Until a Crown Lifter arrives to distract me from the current shiny object.

How do you like this Civivi Gents knife?? It's been peaking my interest the past week or so! Anything under $100 that's nice, feels like a must have. All 3 variations look great.

I’ve been carrying my Ikuchi everyday since I received it. It is so slim in the pocket that I have been dropping various GECs into my pocket alongside it. Mostly a 14 but also a 56.
