Well gang, the Frog Market Special Tandem performed excellent imo!
I especially like the XL version.
Both though, are really fun to use and just super thin and sharp.

Went with the four inch duo today in case I legitimately need to defend myself at work. Yesterday morning I unknowingly drove into the middle of a active shooter situation, and then at my second job yesterday, someone got stabbed to death right in front of the building I was at.

Good grief!!! What war zone are you working at??!
Stay safe Josh!
Downtown Seattle, it’s turning into little Chicago, gee I wonder what happens when you defund the PD!
Yeah who could have predicted that? :eye-roll
The whole "defund the police" movement is truly evil, in my opinion.
Yup, I sure as heck don’t understand it. I’d honestly have to think twice to pull the trigger to protect myself or my family here anymore. Anyways, I better stop, sorry guys. Whatcha carrying?

That's my all time favorite fixed blade right there.

Not my most carried lately, but when it comes to accumulated belt time, nothing else even comes close.

Hey fellow European! :-) I carry it in my backpack, but I am getting into leather craft and I think I can make a scout carry sheath for it. Then it will kick *** for EDC. :cheap-sunglasses

It is funny how much a sheath is a make or break thing for a fixie.
I should have mentioned, I don't carry it for EDC. Kind of did before, when I worked for the military, but it has primarily been my go-to hunting and fishing knife.
I have the leather sheath with dangler. It's a really good sheath and probably plays a big role in my love for this knife. But an EDC sheath it is not :squinting-tongue

Also a fun coincident that you're getting into leather craft. I'm getting ready to dive in myself. Still in the watching occasional youtube tutorials and ordering some supplies phase, and probably wont get down and dirty with it until winter sets in. Nice to have some interesting indoor pastimes for the cold and dark season. The plan is to involve my kids as well, so one of the first projects will be to make leather belt sheaths for their Mora Eldris's. Got them a year or two ago, but the included polymer neck sheath doesn't really make sense for kids.

Stay safe Josh! We left the Seattle area about 3 years ago for family/work reasons. At that time, the downtown area was not like it was 10+ years ago, and it has clearly continued to decline.

Yeah, it’s pretty sad what has happened, and seems like so quickly as well.

I get a kick out of general comments like these. No issues in downtown Chicago. It's actually really nice. Different story in parts of the south and west sides though

Alright, this is the best GEC of the year. And the best GEC I’ve ever handled. Period.

They look fantastic, however they might be the hardest to find yet. Not even fresh tracks on this hunt for me. The upcoming Barlow will be worse.

The more I use these Tops knives, the more I like them.
The scales are super nice! They're canvas micarta and are contoured like a Busse Combat. Very neat!!
I'm gonna check out some more models.
I would absolutely love it if Sal could make a run of Province with some Canvas Micarta Scales!
Based on what I've experienced thus far, these knives are every penny worth what Tops charges ($222 for both)

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Today it is my new custom Griptilian! S90v and CF and perfect out of the box. Even really, really sharp with good edge angles! A bit coarse of an edge, but that's standard Benchmade. Will be trying out a 320 grit edge and see how it goes. I used to hate s90v, but it has grown on me since I got my Native Chief in s90!

I like to carry this one for old times’ sake. It took Spyderco to knock it out of my pocket.
