So I got another Landi EDC. This one has thicker, rougher scales. This EDC combo brings a smile to my face. Something about micarta scaled fixed blades and a SAK reminds me of when I first got into bushcraft.

I've recently picked up a couple of the Landi knives as well. He's had some good deals on the BF makers sales thread. His knives are budget priced and cut very well. Nice knives for the money.

The price to quality ratio is pretty ridiculous. I have a canvas micarta & A2 PSK coming in the mail that was under $60. That's nearly half the price of an ESEE 3 or Enuff after tax and shipping, and I get to customize it a bit.

I recently got one of his fillet knives in 440C very nice for the price, good grind and very sharp upon arrival. Already skinned a bunch-o specks with it. Have the pictured polished black and blue in 01, Peters 59-60 in the mail. Also very nice for the price. Should also be a real cutter. As you already know, he sometimes does deals on BF for his knives.

Yep, I'm tempted by the Santokus he recently posted. My Victorinox Chef knife serves me well, but it'd be fun to build up a patina on a kitchen knife, and have something that feels a little more special.

I have a scandi grind bushcrafter and it's a real nice knife. The FFG version would make an excellent general purpose utility knife.

Bestech Swordfish. For $52, it's an unbelievably good knife.
Flips as good or better than anything I've had. The blade is D2, and it sharpened up well on the SM

I carry a Kershaw oso sweet at work. I couldn't risk losing a knife I care about at the landfill or on a main break.

I have the 0460 also, it's nice but a little on the small side. The 0462 is perfect, well except for the clip, could use a bit more bend, doesn't slide over the pocket very well, I have a MXG coming.

Knives of Alaska Extreme Yukon #2.jpg
Received my Knives of Alaska (KOA) Extreme Yukon #2 yesterday in the mail. Beautiful knife very impressed with the design and the excellence of the overall build quality. Very sharp edge on the D2 steel. Interaction and transaction with KOA was excellent as is the value. From what I have read they are experts in heat treating D2 steel to 59 - 61 RHC range.
