Super Naturalist. It does just fine, but the Survivalist would be nicer it’s a couple ounces heavier..

It's been great! Could also be the Wharnie design as well, but this thing is incredible. I flip back and forth between this knife and the Manix being my favorite.

I love me some tool steels, and it doesn't disappoint. I've got a few knives in 4V as well, and honestly I can't tell the difference, which is fine because they perform very well in the warehouse. I've had great edge retention, as well as the toughness shining through.

Last week when using this knife I was slicing through some pallet strapping along a concrete jersey barrier, of course it sliced through the strapping with ease and actually dinged the tip against the barrier. I was nervous to looks but only suffered a very minor roll, that was very easy to sharpen out on the Wharnie.

I did this same thing a few years ago (you'd think I'd smarten up and not place packages so close to the barrier) with a S30V PM2 and it sustained a bit more damaged. So I was impressed with the results of the Vanadis 4E in that regard.
