What "Other" is in your pocket???

The Insingo has long been my preference, but the drop point Sebenza has a nicely positioned tip and gradual sweep. I'm torn on which I like better right now, but there is no denying the utility of a straighter edge.

I can see why you're in love! So, my paypal money came through and...large Sebenza 21 inbound. :D :D
Way to go! ;)

Plain Jane, or with inlays?
Platan inlays!
I had to look that up. Very striking! And I like the gold thumbstud. Can't wait to see photos once you get it!

Permanent pocket fixture! I actually don't even carry it clipped to my pocket, I like the little leather pouch they provided. Very handy and keeps it from getting scuffed up. The pouch is $30 if bought individually, so I suppose that probably also contributes a bit to the price of these knives.

I gave it some use yesterday for the first time at work. CRK definitely runs their S35VN a bit softer than Spyderco's. It lost that screaming sharp edge rather quickly, but then obviously touched back up very easily. That's fine with me though because this is not a dedicated, beat the snot out of work knife. Sorry to keep posting the same knife, I'm just loving this new toy :)

OH SNAP!!!! Can't wait to see it and what you think! Did you end up getting the Spalted Beech inlays? I like mine A LOT, but kind of wish I grabbed a large myself. Definitely next on my list, but going to make myself wait a bit. I find myself gravitating towards different materials and designs all the sudden instead of steels. 13 different steels from Spyderco is more than enough to keep me busy and fulfilled!
Yeah, I wanted to try out a large first, but I'm sure a small will follow if I like the first. I couldn't find a large with Beech inlays that I liked, so I went with striped Platan wood instead. I think it looks pretty sweet on the 21's two-strip inlays. I did find lots of beautiful Beech small 21s, though, so one of them will be at the top of my list. All the crazy anodized graphics are tempting, too...so much to choose from! **** this is DANGEROUS ground!

Geeeez Julia, been waiting all day for that reply :p

Did you go through knivesshipfree? If so, that had to be a tough decision with all the options they have available! Good for you, based on talking to you these past few years, your taste and appreciation for detail, I think you'll be very happy! Looking forward to a JuPaul reply to this thread soon! :)

That's how I felt about mine too! I'm not a flashy person, but that gold stud and lanyard screw really make them pop. I was actually tempted by a couple of the same inlays that she bought, can't wait to see it!

That's why I feel like I need to dabble with both. So that's 2 votes for Insingo...thanks guys, there goes another $550+ here in the future!

M Sea, do you have any knives you don't love? I feel like every knife you have, no matter what style or brand you absolutely love

Ha, I try to leave the negativity for dm’s if I don’t like something or have had a bad experience with it. But, I did get a White River M1 Caper that came with a sheath that I didn’t like at all. I scout carry my fixed blades and its impossible to find the narrow slot to re-sheath. Its really bad. Gonna have Louie over at Delta sheath make a better one because well, I do love the knife!!!
