Last sips of coffee before we head in to do battle with any packaging materials that stand in our way! :p

Sweet Shiro Connor! I still want one of the small ones but I really can't justify it with all the nice knives I already have.

I came here to post this....

It really is tough to beat for $50 but it's no Shiro :)

Thanks! Hey you just need to do what I did: sell off 7 or 8 other knives, then you can buy your Shiro. ;)
They're certainly not cheap, but you're definitely getting a lot more for your money and personally I think mine was worth every penny I paid for it. I still also carry and use my $30 byrd knives, though. ;)

Yeah I know...it's not like I couldn't fund it with knives that I really don't use. I was all set to buy a Neon NL (only $550) but they went out of stock. Then I take out that ZT 0470 I have with the crazy smooth action and find it hard to believe anything could be much better. Since then I've gotten back into competitive shooting. I have some really nice equipment but there's some much better stuff that I want and there's only so many knives that I would actually consider getting rid of to fund other toys. Choices :)

I definitely hear you! Too many hobbies and not enough money. ;) I've just started getting interested in collecting ancient coins/artifacts, then there's scuba diving, and then today I was thinking how fun it would be to get into metal detecting.
I guess what I need to do is combine all three and start doing underwater archeology. :D

Mini-Presidio in 440C. Since I don't do massive amounts of cutting, even older steels like this suit me just fine.

Thanks! If anything would be a "grail" knife for me, this one would be it. :)

I honestly never use whatever folder I decide to carry for the day in my back pocket. The EDC2 does everything, I never thought I’d be carrying a little fixed blade everyday and choose one over a folder. This knife is perfect.
