My buddy at work just plopped this guy on my desk. I really like the blade and sound of the lockup on this. The scales are a bit much for my tastes, but a cool knife!

I just got one of those a couple weeks ago! A slim medium one. I went with a more subtle version and got just smooth stonewash scales. The best way I can describe it is a cross between an Umnumzaan and an Advocate.

My other. This blade angle is incredible for opening boxes, it's nice to keep your wrist in a natural position and easily get through many boxes at a time.

This is mine. Medium F3 Slim Flipper Slicer. Like I said earlier, it’s like a love child between an Umnumzaan and Spyderco Advocate. Buttery smooth action and a nice crisp sounding lockup like the advocate, but feels like a tank locked up and in hand.

Also I am trying to low key show off my new Red Wings I got the same day.

That's more my style right there, and likely price! The one I posted, he said was $900 :exploding-head

That one looks nice though, as well as the new boots!

I think his prices have come down some. I paid $650. You can get a Med F3 Wharny in the same PM milling for about $695. Choice of ano. He is also back into dealers now. That's how I got mine. And all the ones I've seen coming out have been in Magnacut.

Thanks for the boot compliment too!

I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Put a new edge on it, hoping it performs a little better. Took it up to 800 grit this time around, as well as a few minutes on the strop with green compound.

I swear I'm not that pasty white either, must be the sun :rofl

I think of the Bexar as small, bordering on tiny. I think of the Drift as medium-sized, bordering on large. Wrong on both counts?... :thinking

Fair enough. I wouldn't argue too strongly with your conclusion. ;)

The drift is a favorite of mine. In my top 5… that is until CRK comes out with the sebenza in magnacut and the small may just replace it 🫣
