Well, my buddy with the raffle addiction was back at it again. Landed the one pictured on top just yesterday...one of 6 in the world, valued at over $6,000!! Pretty crazy to hold a folder in hand, knowing it's that rare and expensive.

Really like this one, dare I say love. Classy, great details, and built like a tank.

This is a glorious sharpening job. I have a couple Ultratechs and an old UMS, but I've always wanted a Combat Troodon. Very envious of yours.

Hi Dan. The Ritter is pretty good. Their 20CV holds an edge for a decent amount of time. The starburst pattern on the G10 makes it very grippy. The ABLE lock is easy to manipulate.

Thank you Mikey ,I like the lock since they use Wolff springs . I had the Deka and liked it but after two fails with an exclusive I have passed getting another Hogue . I may have a chance handling one soon . Dan

You're welcome, Dan. I was really tempted to get the Deka in Magnacut, but was discouraged by many comments about the scales having too much flex.

I'll probably still end up trying one in the future.

I had the first generation Deka scales are different but the screw inserts for clip disintegrated on two knives nd gave up and was refunded a Manix 2 . Really wanted to like the knife . Dan

Oh, that's unfortunate. I hope they can improve that deficiency in future releases.

Have either of you tried the Benchmade Bugout?
I hear aluminum or titanium scales bring them to another level. 🤔

This is a bit off topic reply, but I have a Bugout that has G10 scales. It was an exclusive at SMKW - M4 w/OD green G10 handle. The handles are very stiff. There's no flex at all, or it's imperceptible.
