No false start post this time. Siembida Custom Knives Kestrel in MagnaCut. Since the upcoming Native Salts will be MagnaCut, I decided to go with an aquatic theme on this photo, taken while fishing today. The Kestrel has a 3.25" blade.

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
Thanks! Quite fortunate to have snagged this one. Surprising how much looking/patience it took to snag a MagnaCut knife that is the size I wanted. Really like carrying a fixed blade with a 3.25" blade and a full sized handle.

I grabbed it not even thinking about throwback Thursday. I shoulda grabbed a older Spydie.
I wish I had just one to change haha! 57 total filters spread out amongst the building. All mostly hidden up in the ceilings. It’s a VRF system so it takes me a couple days to finish. Should’ve been done on the 1st/2nd, but I am slacking.
Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
Right on Stone! I’m just finishing up a PM on some VRF, 140 fan coils inside this building.

I ordered my dad an engraved Kershaw Link for Christmas! He's gonna love it as all he's ever carried were "Jack knives" otherwise known as stockman style pocket knives.ladybug93 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 06, 2021 10:57 ami don't typically carry assisted flippers anymore. after the smooth action of many spydies i have, not to mention much more sophisticated locks and overall designs, most assisted flippers feel cheap to me. i still have to carry this one every once in a while though. there's something about that composite d2 blade that is just so striking and beautiful to me.

That's an absolutely stunning knife and what a great backstory!Manixguy@1994 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 08, 2021 12:22 pmAbout 4 years ago came into office and a package was on my desk . The Shipping Manager came out smiling and told me to open it . This is a Ed Hinman from Astoria Illinois custom very few were made . It’s a very stout knife for heavy work , spline is thick with nice taper to edge . Steel is unknown, suspect it’s a hard carbon steel holds edge and shrugs off any abuse . It was a very cool surprise Christmas gift . MG2

i'm sure he'll love it. the link is a good knife too. i had a hard time deciding between that and a dividend, but seeing this one put me over the edge. i don't carry it often, but it's a great knife. one of my friends bought one after seeing mine and it's been his edc for a couple years now.SpyderLine wrote: ↑Thu Dec 09, 2021 12:34 pmI ordered my dad an engraved Kershaw Link for Christmas! This maintenance is about 60 hours..It’s a 8 story building, Weyerhaeuser’s headquarters.
We also take care of two 48 story twin towers, at the time it was the largest Mitsubishi VRF install of the time. Those two buildings their is about 12-15 fan coils on every single floor. All WSHP twinned in a mechanical room for every floor!

Dang-that’s some big time stuff. You’re the guy I call when one of our recycle valves freeze and trip an entire branch. I’m just the maintenance guy following you around with keys.murphjd25 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 09, 2021 2:34 pmThis maintenance is about 60 hours..It’s a 8 story building, Weyerhaeuser’s headquarters.

And just so I don’t derail any further, I also had my Vic Rambler with some scales from an AllThingsSwiss exclusive classic.

I got to ask, and I mean no offense at all. I'm just curious - do you carry a patch around with you? Your picture gives me the impression (perhaps mistakenly) that you're out in the woods somewhere and put your gear down to take this nice shot (nice shot BTW - love pictures of that knife), and you just have a random patch with you.
