Super old school today. Benchmade 850 w Rainbow Ti bolsters and ivory micarta scales. Smooth and beautiful. Too nice for the drawer.

You have one modded with the hole don't you? Just wondering, how much did that cost you and where did you have it sent out to do so?

I got it used off the BF Exchange with the hole already in it. I'm pretty sure everyone that was doing it got shut down, which all but confirms my suspicion on how Spyderco feels about someone drilling holes for money. I doubt an official colab or licensing of the hole will ever happen, but I sure hope it does.

A Spyderco Slyz Rat might mostly fill that role someday?

I was under the impression that Spyderco already licenses the use of the hole to various makers

I meant with CRK... For an official Spydiebenza. I doubt CRK would do it. Too bad because it feels so natural, especially compared to their thumb stud.

Neutron 2 for me today.

The Neutron 2 has some minor design changes versus the original Neutron, including the deep-carry pocket clip, which many have stated looks like an angry elephant.. I can see it.

Lol, that's perfect! I like the Neutron 2, but I really think it needs contoured scales. I missed the new micarta ones they had this week, but hopefully they'll make more soon. I just don't love flat scales on a knife this size. I had the same complaint with the Chaparral.
Hahah thanks! That pic got 90 likes in the TRM facebook group, which is about the closest I'll ever come to going "viral" haha! :D :p

I don't mind the flats on the Neutron 2.. I find them to be comfortable enough for my hand, but maybe it's because I'm just used to flats from carrying the N1 and don't know any better? Idk haha. I have an Atom as well, with flat and contoured scales, and go back and forth as to which I prefer on that model.. both work well enough for me..

I was able order a set of contoured OD green scales for the N2. Based on pictures, I think they "look" a little nicer than the flats.. and I'm assuming they'll be more comfortable, too. Looking forward to trying them out to see which I prefer! :)

GEC Tidioute Geppetto Whitler Buffalo Horn #22/25 beat up and used hard. Nothing like using a knife for what it's for, even if it's a collector piece. This is one of my favourite patterns.

One of the few I bought on the secondary market. I was a grail for a bit. Thanks.

A couple of Bokers today. Explorer Barlow and Grenadill Barlow.

FYI: DLT has some in new arrivals today. The one like in the lower left and a couple other Prime Barlows, one in bog oak with a darkened blade. Very nice. Much easier to get vs GECs.
