Those purple scales are sick! Going deep in the Hinderer's again I see. Could just about pay a months worth of mortgage with the last 3 you've got :p

Nice! I've always liked that harpoon shape. Do my eyes deceive me, or are you missing a lockbar insert screw there?

Thank you.
And, to answer your question, yes.
I was stunned to learn that it dropped out after dropping it on the kitchen floor! I mean, its a Hinderer after all, lol.
At any rate, The Ranch has already sent out a replacement in the mail. That being said, I will also tell you, that the actions on both the Eklipse's I have stink compared to the XM-18's that Ive had. I actually had to send the Orange one back to the Ranch.
The one you referred to should go back as well. But, if all it takes is a new set of bearings, then The Ranch will just send a new set with the Orange one, when they return it. What's funny, is a guy on BF, got a Blue/Black model like mine and says its only just second to his Koening in flipping action. I can see that as my XM-18'S have been that nice. What's also funny, is that he had an XM-18 that he had to send back for a poor action.
At any rate, Hinderer will either get it right or give ya your money back. They are a good outfit. Needless to say, it was however very disappointing to have those new Elkipse with bad action.
I'm really hoping they get them sorted out. The Eklipse in Harpoon Tanto is my favorite Hinderer.

Others? Blasphemy! Spydiechef for life!

LMAO. I only carry Spyderco’s at the moment. I do have my eye on a CRK Umnumzaan and a Microtech Halo 6 or Combat Troodon.

Hahah, ok, i thought so! Wasn't wearing my good glasses haha..

I've always liked the look of the XM-18s.. haven't been able to bring myself to the buy one yet though. I have a Hinderer designed ZT that I like quite a bit.. I think that will hold me over haha.. I'm mostly a Spyderco guy these days. Although, I really like the TRMs (Neutron, Atom) and I have a Ritter RSK Mk1-G2 inbound..

Sounds like Hinderer really takes care of customers though.. That's something I always appreciate. Hope they get it all straightened out for you!

Thanx Rick :)
I was a ZT man, until Hinderer came out with the Tri-Way Pivot, namely the bearings they run on..
Of course, Ill always love a good ZT too. :D
