What "Other" is in your pocket???
Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
Nice Lucha. How does it handle? I'm curious but haven't purchased one yet because I'm waiting for more insight.

Thanks, I like it a lot.
From a flipping perspective (disclaimer: I'm not that good :o ), I learned on a Barebones, then moved to a Tachyon and a Replicant, so going back to a heavier one has been interesting. The weight combined with the bearings makes it FAST. It'll bang your knuckles up if your not used to it. Balance is pretty good, definitely favors the rear.
From an EDC perspective, Not having a clip sucks, bit it's large enough that the weight distribution makes it surprisingly back-pocketable. Also, I REALLY like Sandvik steel, if you don't mind sharpening it more often, it'll take a crazy fine edge.
I paid $109 for it, and I'd 100% buy it again, build quality is very nice, no tap or play, lightly threadlocked out of the box, didn't have to adjust it at all. Compared to, say, the 2018 Kimura, it's 1000 times better made IMHO for something close to the price point.

Looking up to see what a lucha was, I also found a us- made schrade bali that looks a lot like my long gone benchmade 41:

sometimes when you’re sitting at home on lockdown, you need a ridiculously large knife at the ready.

Sometimes you're essential personnel and you might still need a big knife in the office :D

^Very nice. Outside of Spydies I'm a big Bussekin junkie.
Had my first ever Benchmade land yesterday. Got a very nice deal on a 417 FACT off the BF Exchange. Have wanted one of these basically since they came out but was hesistant to "cross the line" lol.

Hi everyone
This knife without a clip. Usually in my pocket if not Spyderco.
Take care of yourself in this difficult time.

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
Thanks to a fellow member here and on BF, blades&wrenches (he’s a cool guy) who lives just down the road from me, we traded 86’s and enjoyed a little knife banter yesterday. I now am a proud owner of the sucker rod variety. I had a northfield amber gold bone but this is more my style with less bling.

Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
This Kershaw in 20cv is no joke, might be the best one yet IMO. Blade length is deceivingly long like a Caly 3.5, and carries really slim and light. Fresh 16dps bevel today

Looks like a really nice one. Kershaw seems to be stepping up their game lately.

Today my other knife is a GEC 43 in red jig bone.
Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
Decided to break the Spyderco trend for the rest of the week and carry this guy exclusively. I'm really liking how this knife fits in my hand, very useful blade shape as well.
