It's the pre 2008 German Army Knife, made by Victorinox. The saw has a combination caplifter/can opener on the end, and a small file on the other side of the saw. There's the main blade and that's it. It's 108mm long, and a lot of tool for it's size. That saw comes in mighty handy on hikes and yard work!

RMD indeed. It's a good size for a fixed blade edc.

The RMD is one of the best designs Busse has made IMO.

I have to agree. Fits my hand very well, sized just right to carry every day too. I've been wanting a RMD for awhile just avoided it because I wanted infi and didn't want to pay $400 for it. Glad Jerry did another run and especially like the FFG.

Had a few years ago, SR101 and saber ground.

They are very nice.

I know you played around with a lot of steels. How did you like the SR101? I'm tempted to buy a standard RMD to try it out. Did you prefer any of its properties to infi?

They are fine in SR101, somewhat easier to sharpen than INFI.

For that type of knife either one is good.

I doubt you will be disappointed.

From Saturday. Bark River Kephart and a handmade knife by Chad Kelly, a.k.a. Xplorer. A terrific opening day.

This one has been in my pocket quite a bit since it arrived. It is a good reminder of my grandfather.
