How do you like the Free? I’ve got a Charge, MUT, Juice and a little keychain type I can’t remember the name of.
I like it.

With my first-generation Wave (to which I moved from a first-generation PST) as my pertinent frame of reference, I see the Free P4 as an incremental improvement rather than a game-changer.

The selection and arrangement of tools are much more to my liking, and the magnets and locks make for more pleasant opening and closing experience.

I carry the Juice a lot for days when I feel I’m likely to get recruited to do some small jobs at my moms and or sisters places.446A7CA8-5455-4BA4-B20F-2F84CCAEBCF3.jpeg
I too always have that little Vic eyeglass-screwdriver inserted in the corkscrew...

I personally prefer the previous versions of the Juice - better scales imho, and, more importantly, much better and longer blade with some belly towards the tip.. carry the Juice S2 almost always in more "urban" enviroment, and the Juice CS4 as my basic light outdoor multitool (when it gets "more serious" I switch to the Rebar)

Top three going by pocket-time: Endura 4 in VG 10/Micarta-scales; Stretch 1 in VG 10; Endura 4 in HAP 40

Chubby started to gather friends. The v4 mid-tech (version 4) on bottom arrived yesterday. It will get some pocket time for a bit.

I’ve never used an older juice, but as I pretty much always have a Spydie on me for any real cutting tasks, the short funny shaped blade doesn’t bother me at all. I’ve used it to scrape more than cut really. It’s my light to medium duty tool.
My Charge tti gets called upon for most tasks. MUT stays in my truck, it’s bulky and heavy to carry but it sure is a solid tool!
If you're wielding the sharpest tool in the shed, who's going to say that you aren't...?

Picked up a super freek recently. Really nice knife. The cerakote sucks. Chipping at the spine from keys in my pocket, streaks across the blade from opening a box or two. Spyderco DLC is by far the best coating I've seen and compares to high end DLC I've seen used in the Swiss luxury watch arena.

Sebenza Friday again.

Carried this yesterday and dropped it off a roof 20 feet to the concrete. Held up like the tank it is, just picked up a couple new scratches. The blade flew open on impact and thank god it landed in the grass the second time it bounced! Can’t even tell it took a nasty fall.

Jim, thanks you for the “smugmug” photo show! Love the mallard shots.

My second 3V folder (after the Tuff)

Image

To be honest, don't notice much difference between 3V and Cruwear.

Semi custom Cheburkov Big Swift. The clip is just "pushed in", I bought it for the fancy timascus and taking pictures with it since I don't enjoy clips on knives :D

Its my only EDC folder since I started this madness over a year ago (apart from a 15 y.o. SAK Huntsman (abuse) and Swisstool X (travel emergency tool))

I hope customs releases my KC Native 5 Cruwear and I can have him soon. I hate this type of patience games :D

PS: Is 1 MB the jpg file limit?
