What "Other" is in your pocket???
Re: What "Other" is in your pocket???
Thanks, SpyderNut! This is what I was hoping for when I we talked about modern traditional folders, and then someone went and made it!

Been carrying my Brous Bionic XL a lot lately but today my Cruwear PM2 paired with Enigma Classic 01 in US2000 steel, (apparently same as Zwear which from what I can find, is essentially the same as Cruwear).
If you're wielding the sharpest tool in the shed, who's going to say that you aren't...?

That is a stunning piece! I really like the design. Has very nice lines. As you said, this model is an excellent example of blending classic designs with a modern twist. (Enrique Pena is another maker who has nailed this concept beautifully). Thanks for the pictures!

What I like about this front flipper implementation is the option to either flip, or slow thumb roll (like a Spydie-hole) all from the same mechanism. I don't like nail nicks, so it doesn't get much more space efficient than this. Killed my finger for a couple of days though, until I toughened up.
Here's a vid from the maker, with its bigger brother.

Man, those are both super nice. I agree wholeheartedly regarding your preferences on the front flipper. I looked at a few front flippers made by Serge Panchenko at the Blade Show that were similar in design. Really neat idea! Enjoy that knife. :)hoimin wrote:Not a problem! Will probably order a Benchmade 319 Proper as it is the most interesting thing I have seen in a while in slip joint

Not carried in my pocket, but the SOG mini pentagon is handy for letter-opening:
And another photo to compare the edge length:

I'm also a Cold Steel addict as well as Spyderco, so I have a few of their knives. I actually EDC the Rajah II right now XD
Currently lusting after the PM2 in S110V... And the Para 3... And the Military... And pretty much everything else...

Trestle Pines superior left front, one of the Chinese Kershaw / Emerson CQC 4KXL the best $35 I ever spent on right side and Eye brand large lockback Sodbuster right back with Spyderco Dragonfly on keychain. I carry four at all times

Welcome to the forum rosaann :)rosaann wrote:There’s not one thing in any of my pockets. It’s all in my handbag. The biggest life save for me has been a purse organizer that I can lift out and put in another bag. It holds keys, credit cards, check book, pen and highlighter, a mini flashlight, and Sprint Persian. My wallet goes in by itself because it’s a little too long for the organizer and I keep my phone in an outer pocket of my bag.
Happy to be part of this great forum and group of down to earth spyderco addicts, Thanks Sal and gang.
