Jack Reacher #25. A great read so far. This is one of Lee Child's last input into the series, and iirc his brother Andrew, who cowrote this with LC, is taking over the series - eventually.

Just finished King John by Shakespeare.
If you like it go to Amazon and give me a good review.

Attack Surface by Cory Doctorow. In fact I read the first two books (and short story Force Multiplier) before starting Attack Surface.

Huntingtower by John Buchan. (Author of The Thirty-Nine Steps.) It's an excellent "thriller", written shortly after the First World War.

Has anyone here read The Thirty-Nine Steps or any of the other Richard Hannay novels? They are all superb.

I am reading and re-reading the sequel to Fall Planet, scouting out errors and inconsistencies. By the time I finish doing that over and over I do not want to read the story anymore. HaHaHa!

My Beta Testers are bugging me to get this out, so...

“The Mirror and the Light” by Hilary Mantel, the end of a great trilogy about Thomas Cromwell, Lord Privy Seal to Henry VIII.
Just finished this. What an excellent book! The power of Kings...

I was working near the site of Lewes Priory a couple of weeks ago, and spotted carved tracery in stones in an old garden wall, obviously reused from the suppressed and demolished priory. It was close to Anne of Cleves House - an old house that was part of her divorce settlement but never occupied by her.

The last book I read was a novel about an enigma in very old paint in which it was a Chess Board, cannot remember this moment the name, but it was very interesting, and really nice
