Elijah Craig Small Batch as the ABC had it on sale. The EC I bought before had banana nut bread notes. This one did not. Helping my mother move on Friday and will pour a Blanton’s of hers. Did a flight at a bar a while back- WELLER Antique, Angel’s Envy, Col EH Taylor. All were good but for my taste profile I like Wild Turkey 101 and anything Russells makes. I will focus on more of their stuff moving forward. Another sleeper was Old Grand Dad 114, super hot and cinnamon back notes. Alas, ABC is out indefinitely. Lastly, I don’t know how you guys drink bourbon any way but neat but I get funny looks when I request it out and about, like it’s too hardcore? I want to taste nothing but bourbon and Ice added makes me drink it faster to avoid watery pour

Peticolas Velvet Hammer on tap at home... It's an imperial red ale. Candy and beer is an unexpected good combo.Image

This stuff is pretty refreshing. :usflag It's a more subtle flavor than the original dragon's milk but still very tasty. I find letting it warm a bit before drinking brings out more flavor.

That looks, and sounds really good. I'm typically an IPA guy, I like the hops and strong flavors. During these Central NY winters we have, I do enjoy the occasional stout or porter. I've never seen that before, nor heard of a white stout and having that nice color!

I highly recommend giving it a try. I'd say pour it and give it 10 to 15 mins to come up a little out of the fridge. It has a very creamy mouth feel. Not a light beer by any means. If you haven't had the regular dragon's milk I also recommend it.
