Excellent choice Sir, nearly identical to the Westvleteren 12 but much more readily available.

A friends wife was in Belgium some years ago to give some classes and someone there gave her two bottles of the Abbey XII from the monastery where you have to be on a list . The numbers were hand painted on the bottle and nothing else . I’ve tried many dark ales and that one bottle was the best I ever had the pleasure to try . MG2

Those bottles were likely from the abbot's private stock and delicious no doubt. The connection between Westvleteren and St. Bernardus is a very interesting one and goes back to WWII, reason I won't go into it but from what I've read Abt 12 is actually the original recipe for Westvleteren 12. On the rare occasions I go out for a drink Bernardus 12 is also my go to. Another good one is Rochefort 10 but after several of those you might wanna sit down for a minute. Ask me how I know...

Black Rifle Coffee Company Freedom Roast.
The Keurig cups provide an easy to clean up caffeine delivery system
but do not allow for adding a pinch of salt to the grounds.
What! You don't add salt to your coffee! Google it. Try it.

This is an alcohol centric thread, but not to worry.
I am definitely not on the wagon for Dry January.
Well, I was for 10 hours. That's noon in the Atlantic Time Zone.

Waiting for my coffee to brew, with my favorite mug. Sunday mornings are my favorite, typically the only morning of the week I can wake up and relax a little!

The Zaan has spent so much time in my pocket the past two weeks that my Spydies are getting jealous. Swapping it out for the Shaman tonight..

Well it's almost noon here. Pondering which one to start with.
For those who haven't tried the Robinson's Trooper, it's a wonderful ale. Plus, who can fault some classic Maiden. Last saw them in 2020 in Cincy at Riverbend for my 5th show.
