BH49.
I recommend going to a range, renting, shooting and field stripping everything you are interested in 1st.
It will make the decision easy for you. All you need to do is show up.
It will be a few bucks up front, but could save you lots of cash in the long run.
While I love the triggers on single action only pistols, I no longer have any.
In 9mm the Sig210-6 was probably my favorite. My 1st 9mm was a NIB Belgium Browning High power I bought in 1984.
Then traded it for a Sig 226 10 yrs later.
Now that I think about it, you should get a full sized .22 pistol 1st.
Ammo prices have gone nuts, And isn't much fun to find at sane prices.
Shoot the heck out of the .22 for next to nothing, then decide what will be next.
You will able go to the range 20x more often than if you 1st buy a .45
And you can try different center fire pistols while your there.
Went through 300 rnds of 9mm & .40 yesterday when I picked up a 9mm Shield.
Looking back, I should have tossed a .22 in the bag. Could have stayed another hour or two.
Just my 2 cents.
