Two Brands On Same Page

#1

Post by rifleman88 »

I know Spyderco also performs well on the field, but lately I've been seeing tons of good review from survivalist and preppers about CRKT M16 like this-http://www.mountsplus.com/AR-15_Accesso ... -10KZ.html, are they really on the same boat quality wise?

3 posts since last month and they all ask the same question. Do you work for CRKT?

Wow, ask the same question a few times and suddenly people get all jumpy!

To answer your question: No, they are NOT "really on the same boat quality wise." I have the discontinued M16-12ZER - which I would consider a step up from the 10KZ - and it is a fine knife for what it is--a beater. But a quick search shows you can pick up a CRKT M16-10KZ for $25-30- shipped; why not try one for yourself and let us know if you think the two brands are "On Same Page"....

BTW do you work for Mountsplus.com?

Jumpy? Maybe. The first two threads had adequate answers IMO with zero response from the OP. That leads me to believe that the OP is trying to sell something. Maybe it's just me?

Perhaps. But, then again, some boats have both steerage and first class.

I think that's against the rules too :(

Maybe we can construct vague metaphors about mythical creatures peddling wares from caravans in foreign lands? You know, like a Tolkien book! jk ;)

No, not just you... every post links the same overpriced site. My response was somewhat tongue-in-cheek.

I'm a firm believer in "once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, the third time is enemy action". However, much as I hate to put anything more on Kristi's plate, perhaps we should let the mods decide. Thread reported.

I own a handful of CRKT models. Very nice and beefy. But the overall quality is not on the same level as the various Spyderco knives I own.

I agree Paul but this guy has low post counts in a lot of forums and the posts always have links to selling sites. Never any replies after the first post too.
