Pick one spyderco knife to be stranded on a desert island with! For me it would be my standard Military combo-edge.

I would have to go with the Native with FRN handle, combo-edge, or, the Spyderco Endura with FRN handle and saber-grind.

Of any ever made or from our own collections? From my collection...on a desert island...probably my Schempp Tuff (PM2 close second). Of any ever made, a fixed blade would probably be better, so maybe a Bushcraft or Schempp Rock, but I haven't used any large Spyderco fixed blade knives so I have no practical experience to draw from regarding survival.

Woodlander (go big or go home right :D ), hands down. Great for chopping down trees for shelter and what not, splitting said trees for firewood, and the N690 is a great at edge holding and corrosion resistance. Although I might want to go with a Rock Salt, H1 is much easier to sharpen and if I don't gave my stones, a stone from the ocean will be about all I have to sharpen with.

Bushcraft. I'm not a huge fan of it, but if you're stranded and you can only have one (Spyderco), a full tang and O-1 steel are the way to go.

Cracking open coconuts, cutting palm leaves and splitting clam shells. Try that with your LBK!

Southfork!

No maintenance other than keeping the edge alert.

Yeah, I would have to go with the Hossoms or Shempp family of fixed blades.
Being an island would slant me toward the Rock Salt.

If I got stuck on a deserted island, I'm guessing I won't have the luxury of picking what tools to take.

I love threads like this. :D

I forget the model name, but it's the one with a satellite cell phone in the handle, yeah, that one would really be handy there! ;)

Otherwise, a Bushcraft would be the next best thing I suppose.

I was thinking about T2, but have to aknowledge that your choice is better. Somehow I forgot about Rock Salt.
So I will go with the same.
