Hi John,

So, so sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. I have had the pleasure of meeting a few Newfoundlanders in my time, they are big gentle souls. I know how painful this must be for you. All the best.

John,

I am terribly sorry for the loss of your friend and companion. Indeed, I am sure that Tank was a special member of your family, much like a son or daughter. Although he is no longer here to be with you in this life, I pray that you will always find comfort in the many wonderful memories of times spent together. Take care, my friend. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.

Oh wow, he was born on the day. My condolences. :(

I lost a dog, it takes years to stop looking down and expecting to see him there.

When I lost the last German Shepherd I had I literally cried for about 3 days. There is a really special bond between a man and a good dog that few people could ever understand unless they had a really great dog.

My condolences Sir and I hope you find a new companion soon. JD :spyder: O

Sorry for your loss, John. I remember losing the dog that I grew up with and the pain of the loss shocked me. I wish you and your family the best and know that Tank is in a better place.

I am sorry to hear I formed a bond with my dog bullmastiff that died last oct actually thought of her earlier and was brought to tears .
The bond I had was unlike any I've had before with any animal or person almost telepathic , I'm feeling your loss mate and just know , whatever our beliefs religious or not.
One day we will be reunited with those closest with us whilst we were here be safe and try and think of the good times .

Sorry to hear about Tank. As close as we get to our dogs it's just as bad as losing any other family member in my experience. I think when Finn goes there won't be any more. If there are, it won't be for several years.

It's amazing how much goodness dogs can fit into such short lives.

Joe
