It's a toss up between my Randall Model 14 Attack given to me when I completed Grad school, or the recently released Calypso sprint given to me by my team when I left my last job.

This is not an easy question.

It's not that I'm not materialistic. Look at the vast stuff I own (I'm a borderline horder ;) ) you'd know that.

But, on an emotional level, it's difficult. Dunno... I'll have to think about it.

For me, I have two items that were from my two grandfathers. The first is a pocket watch I got after my Mom's father passed in the early 80's. The other is a really neat Crucifix that houses a candle holder and cut-out for Holy water that was used to baptize my Dad's father who passed away in the 40's. Both will go to my son.

Most valued doesn't have to be pricey.

I have an old Timex watch that a buddy purchased as part of a BIG buy from a shop with a Casio display case that looked like it went through a war zone. Several 1980s-era watches inside. He made a post about his buy on a different forum site. I mentioned I really liked one particular analogue Timex he got in the deal. A few months later, I received it as a gift from him. It means a lot to me. I always wanted to get a good watch as a gift, but generally I'm that one friend everyone has who is great at selecting gifts for others. If you can't think of a friend like that whom you have, than chances are you're that guy.

That old NOS Timex that sat in that case for decades means a lot to me. No clue which model it is. My buddy replaced the old battery with a new one. If you put a nice leather strap on it, it's good-looking enough as well as small & thin enough to pass for a dress watch.

Landon,
Nice bike.

I have few gifts from my son, which he made, when he was a child: a pen, which he brought me from a trip, pen/ pencil holder, which he made in school, a DVD.

Colt Government model 1911.

My grandfather carried it from 1945-1946. He brought it back from the Phillipines (where he lived for several years after the way) in 1951, along with his pretty young Filipina bride and their baby daughter (my mother).

Hey guys,
In honor of Fathers Day.
My most prized material possession would be the black and gold '77 Gibson Les Paul Custom that my dad bought for me new back when I was twelve.
I still have the receipts for the payments he made, which totaled $899.00.
It had to put a strain on my parents budget back then.
Thanks dad! I love you.R.I. P.
Later,
Don

For me, it has to be my wedding ring. Me and Mrs Eee got matching ones made.
It's crept to this pick

Been thinking about this one, & a difficult question to answer as I don't think in these terms. I think it is a book my dad gave me. It's a signed copy of Triumphant Democracy by Andrew Carnegie. It is dedicated to my great-grandfather.

Im sort of a minimalist and dont like having excess things. Spydies are the only thing I have many of that dont get used all the time. Naturally my most prized possession is my Caly 3 Damascus because my wife bought it for me. She gets tired of listening to me babble on about Spyderco, so it really means a lot to me that she would spend that kind of money on a knife for me. I carry it everyday. Its a really great knife with looks to match, but the sentimental value of it makes it my most prized possession.
Don't mess with the Spyder because you think you're fly.
