How did you get it out of the can in one piece?

I'm guessing that both ends of the can had been removed prior to baking, thereby allowing the final product to be "pushed" onto a plate from the bottom end. Either way, you're making me hungry, Rookie. ;)

Well, the top is clearly "baked out" as you would see when baking muffins in a muffin tin, while the bottom is flat like the bottom of the can. I just think back on trying to get dog food out of cans like that in one piece and it being a PITA. Must have used some awesome nonstick spray lol.

Ah ha! Good point. I once almost sent a fresh pan-full of Rice Krispy treats accidently across the room due to using too much spray-on Pam. :o It can happen to anyone.

Yep - plenty of spray & cook.

Cut the bottom of the can open afterwards & work the bread loose with a knife around the edge before pushing out - still remains a pita though.

The dark meat is pastrami - you win a free slice for guessing correctly.
