It really blows me away that there haven't been keys lost and copies made over the years, to the point that security could be compromised. Then again, I guess you can get through the lock but dodging shotgun blasts is another issue.

I work as a contractor at an LLC but nothing I'd make a career out of. Had to sign an NDA when I joined though so I can't say anything too specific, but pretty much what I do is search eBay, amazon and some other online shops for knockoffs and counterfeits of the company that hired the LLC I work for.
Sounds like Spyderco should hire you to try to weed out some of the knockoffs on ebay. Then again, we have enough forum members on the look out as it is doing it for free.

I'm a butler, chef, personal trainer and occasionally medic to local neighborhood celebrity Finn the mastiff. Occasionally ear scratcher and pillow as needed.

:p

And social director/poop scooper positions need to be filled in occasionally.

Hahaha I think Rycen has got it covered. He does a much better job than I could, I'll browse his Copy threads and be thinking to myself "How the **** does he know these are fakes???" I stil have a lot to learn, especially about the older models.

Ken, we were so close but I bet we never met. 6-7 years ago I was working 5 miles from the Browns at a Southwest General hospital. I worked there for about 10 years. I've been at the Browns for almost 3 years now. Crazy though. ;)

Well, I'm a student right now. Got a ways to go before I graduate college. I've been mowing lawns and doing odd jobs, cleaning pools, etc. I'm a certified Aerospace QA inspector, but so far only 1 interview has come my way.

Construction estimator in roof trusses. Bring me a plan & I'll run through the design, quote the job, and then put it into production if needed. Most of my life in construction related stuff. Started as a cabinet maker, did a stint in aircraft interior cabinetry (some tooling, PMA inspector) and now short-timing it until retirement, just a few more years to go now!

Wood trusses, Mitek Industries for E-Frame (layout) & their engineering program for structural analysis. Also use their MBA business software for the actual bidding, inventory control, invoicing, etc.

I spent a few years leaning Mitek, then Alpine Truss, Truss-Wall. Later I moved onto steel trussess using visual analysis, NuTruss, and so on .....
Nice to meet a fellow truss man.
