II find these warnings annoying and useless. What are you to open this box with a spoon (cousin). I like the challenge of opening boxes up without cutting the contents. I do like the Mora icon ;)

True. Several times I've felt like calling the sender up and complaining that the item got damaged when I tried to open the box with a propane torch. :) :D What I really hate are folks who send me a shirt stuffed in a tyvek envelope. Can't tear it open, and cutting it open is like playing with a timebomb.

I usually take it as a challenge. One time I opened a soda syrup box with my sage though... That was a bad idea

When I ordered my Forager from STP, it came in a box with a big label "NO KNIFE".
I thought "then what did they send me if they didn't put a knife in the box?" :D .
Which Knife, A or B? get Both! (and C, D and E) :)

I regularly open many boxes filled with medical products marked with these labels with my knife. I have never accidentally punctured anything.

My Pit/Lab Bernie isn't too sharp. I just tell him a new Milk Bone or coffee shipment arrived and he dispatches any boxes (and occasionally contents) quite swiftly.

The only time such a label made sense was when I used to work at Burger King. The soda dispenser used big plastic bags filled with soda / syrup. The plastic bags came in cardboard boxes which were meant to be stacked on top of each other in the back room.

And those bags were packed tight as can be in the boxes. You were supposed to rip the boxes open along the perforations that were never punched right. So you end up tearing into the thick cardboard boxes like some wild animal, minus the needed claws. Try using a knife, and you'd easily end up cutting into the plastic bags inside; without even trying.
