Duracoat Ruger 10/22

Ok well i wanted to try out duracoat so I got maroon and got the hardener, degreaser, and reducer(sprayed out of airbrush but didnt need). When I did use it it was easy to use and spray out of the airbrush and I like the end result... here it is :D this was a synthetic stock also. i didnt do the barrel, just the stock and a 25 rd. mag. :)

I've gotta get one of those. I love .22s. One of these days i'm gonna build one for sniping zombies.

First I had to sand it with 400 grit sand paper all over. Then cleaned with water, used the trustrip degreaser that you can buy from lauer weaponry and let it flash off. Shake the duracoat for a few minutes. Mix the duracoat w/ the hardener, put in air brush, spray on at about 35-40 psi then let dry for a hour. After the hour you can handle it but you can assemble it in 24 hours and it is fully cured in about 3 weeks. And that is about it

And also I taped off the checkering so it would stay black

Cool, so you had to disassemble it,and just duracoated it... How much would it cost to get all of the stuff to do that(you can PM me if u don't want to say on here) because I might want to duracoat some stuff :)

It was about $40 but don't quote me on that, this was for everything.
