The only autos(centerfire) I still own are Sigs and Glocks.

The Sigs have a much better trigger, and in general are more accurate, but they are heavy compared to Glocks.

I love my 229 with .40, and .357 Sig barrels. But my favorite carry guns are the Sig P232, and my Glock 27.
The P232 with its 3.5 lb trigger is more accurate than any of my Sigs or Glocks, and that gives me the confidence to carry the smaller .380 round.

I know, not a problem, just having a little chat on fun stuff. The Glock is one of those "lightning" topics that seems to bring people into the discussion with definate opnions. You either love em or hate em.

New Sig released at SHOT, Sig 224, looks like a chopped, more easily concealed 229.

The 224 looks interesting. Pretty compact but at 25.4 oz a little hefty for pocket carry. Be fine for IWB. If I were looking to buy a 9 and could afford it I'd take a good look at it. I'd like to see SIG come out with a micro .380 along the lines of the S&W Bodyguard. Take the 239 and shrink it down to 16 oz. or less. If they could make the price competitive with the Bodygaurd's and without the BG's hassles I think it would sell pretty good.

You mean like the P238? It operates more like a 1911, but it's small and light.

For a pocket gun I'd prefer DA or DAO to SA. I used to own the SIG DA model but it was a little large and hefty for pocket carry. Plus it was a jamamatic. A scaled down 239 in .380 would be a great pocket pistol (assuming it was 100% reliable with every type of .380 ammo on the planet).

Sig unveiled the P938 today at SHOT. 1911 style 9mm a little bit bigger than the P238.
