I'm looking to make a couple of lanyards for some of my knives, and was wondering where do y'all buy your para-chord at?

Jantz Supply has always treaten me very well, and they stock a bunch of colors. Here's a link to their 550 cord selection: http://www.knifemaking.com/SearchResult ... h=550+cord

The last few times has been from: http://campingsurvival.com/paavch.html

The normal colors, black, white, olive drab, you can usually get for around $4 for 100 feet. They sell 1000 feet for <$40, but I don't know how much it costs to ship that.

Also, the shipping is reasonable. I got like 8 x 100 foot packs back when they were around $3 and some change and they charged me around $6 for shipping. The price goes up and down a little bit, I think it goes on sale sometimes.

I use http://www.ubraidit.com they sell by the foot so I can buy 1 foot at a time if I want. I don't tie lanyards but knots for Scout neckerchiefs (woggles).

I generally thow a couple of hundred feet (in different colours) in when I order a stack of CR123 cells, and whatever else I order from them (I generally do one big order a year, 2-300 dollars worth)
