Show Me Your Tactical Tomahawks

#1

Post by Dr. Snubnose »

Well Winter is coming fast and that mean longer coats and heavy over garments. I just pulled out two of my favorite "ATC"s Tactical Tomahawks among a host of others to practice with. Nothing like a good Tomahawk for SD. These will be added to my EDC as soon as weather conditions are right for carry.....Show me your Tactical Tomahawks.....Doc :D

Yes I so happen to do so...I have a special shoulder harness that holds both Tomahawks in snap open kydex sheaths on the draw. The draw is a double handed cross draw and then both my hawks are in hand. Of Course, I will have to remove some custom knives off of the belt so as not to damage them in any way due the stuff either rubbing or knocking into them. but I will only carry the hawks for about a month and half maybe two.....Doc :D

I had a feeling you would carry them shouldered and crossdrawn. I wouldn't mind having some hawks but I'll take mine without the spikes.

I keep breaking tomahawks but I too am into the shoulder/back cross or strait draw configuration. I keep breaking most people's lighter hawks (Sal, there is still a niche here) so I end up with axes and machetes instead. and bowie knives.

Ay Bruce,
I used to hunt small game with a David and Goliath slingshot set up....just a leather pouch on two pieces of long leather cording, swing round and around above the head and let one leather end go....got quire accurate with it!...Those wrist rockets hurt my wrists :p ...Doc :D
