I just saw this pic on another thread here, oh my god, I NEED one of these. Can some one tell me who made it? what might it set me back? The blue Mokume is unbelievable!!!

I believe that is Brad Southard's work.

That is a Southard AWT. Great looking blade... went for around 600 on arizonacustomknives.com IIRC.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

thanks a ton everyone! Ive added this one to my grail list. I will have to see if he would be willing to do that mokume with a twill like CF... $600 aint too bad for a custom :cool:

Brad used to be around here quite a bit. There is talk of a Spydie collab. He still drops in from time to time.

It really isn't, I was digging deep trying to free up the funds for that one (or one very much like it... not really sure) when it sold. I highly suggest keeping an eye on Arizona Customs site, they have some real treasures pop up from time to time.

The Southard collaboration is an excellent piece. It has customizable scale options as well.
