Lots of Crowbar lately. Probably the most copied 6 string guitar tone of all time.

Among the first songs I ever recall hearing were these early Beatles songs. I must have heard them when I was in the crib, because my brother started buying Beatles albums right after they appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1964. I also remember hearing music from the other British Invasion bands, as well as the L.A. folk-rock and San Francisco bands that were also big back then. I still like these older Beatles songs, because they were simple, and they seemed to be purely about fun, before the Beatles became all self-conscious and existential. I liked their later stuff a lot, too, especially the White Album, but there was something magical about growing up first hearing their early stuff, from a very young age, when it was still new.

I hadn’t thought of this song in quite awhile. Listening to it now, I think it’s one of the very best-written and performed love songs of all time.

Ahhh...the good ole days of the late 90's, being a teen and only worrying about skateboarding, football and chasing that high school crush that was a senior when you're a sophomore haha!

In a world so polarized and full of negativity, this was literally a breath of fresh air, I've been blasting the album regularly since it went out

I spend my work days in a truck and listen to a lot of music. One of my favorite things to do is to listen to an entire artist's discography from start to finish. Today we're going through the middle generation albums by Slayer :)

Their first 5 albums are absolute classics. Not sure if you listen to Death Metal but early/mid Morbid Angel always reminded me of a faster/heavier Slayer.

They did a thing where there albums titles go in alphabetical order. A B C F and G are all great in there own way.

A=Fast
B=Groovy
C=Fast/groovy
F=Groovy/Fast but different than C
G=Slow/Heavy

I’m NOT one of the 4 metal heads mentioned, but I am a fan of early heavy metal…in particular, ‘70s heavy metal, by Judas Priest, Deep Purple, and some others…
